🔬☀️ Imagine spending your summer not just in Europe—but in a lab in Europe, contributing to real research that matters. That’s what students from all over the world do when they join scientific internships at Masaryk University. It’s not just about shadowing researchers. You become one of them. 🧪 Think molecular biology. Think quantum physics. Think solving actual scientific questions with teams who treat you as a colleague, not a visitor. 💬 'The internship gave me confidence in my research work, broadened my knowledge and skills and awakened my passion for exploratory research' Thomas Breil 💬 '(...) my daily tasks varied; sometimes I worked on chemical synthesis, sometimes I coded the results of analysis. Such alternation of activities is not typical for many laboratory internships.' Caroline Kamal 💬 'I fully immersed myself in the local culture, attending interesting events and doing all sorts of activities that allowed me to better understand the history, traditions and vibrancy of the region.' Alexandrei S. For many, it’s their first real step into science outside the classroom—and it happens in Brno, Czech Republic, in some of the country’s top research centers. 🌍 Want to join the team this summer? Don't hesitate, the applications are open just until April 1! 🌐 https://lnkd.in/d-w5XguA

“What if you could design a marketing campaign that practically runs itself?” Sounds like a dream, right? Well, AI is making it happen—but only for those who know how to use it. Next summer, I’m inviting you to be part of something exciting: AI and Digital Marketing, a course at Masaryk University Summer School (ECON MUNI, Masaryk University Brno, Masaryk University Summer and Winter Schools). Here’s what makes it different: 1. You’ll build it yourself. 🤔 Think of it like IKEA for AI in marketing—you’ll learn how to create strategies and campaigns from scratch, piece by piece. 2. You’ll uncover the hidden magic. ✨ Tools like ChatGPT and AI-powered analytics aren’t just buzzwords—they’re reshaping how businesses connect with audiences, and you’ll learn how to harness their full potential. 3. You’ll leave with something real. 🚀 Whether it’s a portfolio project, new skills, or a fresh perspective, this course isn’t just about ideas—it’s about action. But here’s the catch. You won’t just watch or listen. You’ll do the work, design strategies, and build something meaningful with your own hands (and mind). Who is this for? 📚 Students who want future-proof marketing skills. 👩🏫 Professors and academic colleagues—this might just be the course your students have been looking for. 🗓️ When and where? 📍 Brno, Czech Republic 📅 July, 2025 Curious? Let’s talk about what you’ll create. Explore more here 👉 https://lnkd.in/d_Gzg9jR 💬 Here’s a question: What’s the first thing you’d use AI to create in a marketing campaign? I’m thrilled to share that I recently completed a three-week exchange program at Masaryk University Summer and Winter Schools in Brno, where I took a course on international law and human rights. This journey was not just about academics but also about hands-on learning and exposure to real-world institutions. As part of the program, I had the incredible opportunity to visit the United Nations in Vienna, the Hungarian Parliament, and the Helsinki Committee in Budapest, where I gained firsthand insights into international law in practice. In Prague, I visited several NGOs, learning about their critical work in promoting human rights and legal advocacy. Yesterday, I received my official transcript with an A grade and 8 ECTS credits, marking the successful completion of this journey. I’m truly grateful for the outstanding professors, the amazing peers I had the privilege to learn alongside, and the invaluable insights from experts in the field. Thank you to Masaryk University Summer and Winter Schools for this amazing opportunity!

Summary of our International Security: Practical Insights course from Benjamin Flintoff, who came to us from Deakin University. Very pleased with this positive feedback! 💙
Student at Deakin University in the final stages of a Bachelor’s in International Studies | Majoring in International Relations
Recently I was lucky enough to undertake a 3-week study program on International Security at Masaryk University Brno. The course in Czechia was filled with students from multiple universities and backgrounds. A truly incredible experience which certainly enriched my understanding in the concept of security through the variety of topics explored in the lectures. Martin Chovancik took the first week of class where we discussed armed conflict with the introduction of analysis tools like a risk assessment matrix and the PIN model. As classes concluded for the week we travelled to Budapest and were lucky enough to meet with the Hungarian Helsinki Committee to discuss their work. The second week consisted of an Information Warfare lecture with Petra Mlejnková, an Intelligence lecture with Lukas Horak and an Energy Security lecture with Jan Osicka. At the end of this week we travelled to Prague to visit the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty headquarters and were fortunate enough to meet with the Europe editor Rikard Jozwiak. During the last week we focused on religious radicalism and the possibility or rather impossibility of an EU army with Katerina Fridrichova, as well as Cyber Security with Jakub Drmola. Concluding the program with a trip to Vienna and a visit to the United Nations headquarters. A truly memorable experience where I gained a deeper insight into European perspectives of security. Thankyou to Masaryk University Summer and Winter Schools and Deakin University for this opportunity!

Thank you, Lara Sanchez! It is a pleasure to read this!
I have been truly blessed to be part of the Masaryk University Winter School on International Security 2025 in Brnó, Czech Republic. For 3 weeks, we covered topics such as threats to global security, international armed conflict, cyber intelligence, information warfare, drafting a national security strategy, and more. There were also academic visits around Central Europe such as Radio Free Europe/Radio Free Liberty in Prague and the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest. The International Security class is composed of 13 students from 9 countries, where I am the only Filipino. 🇵🇭 Meanwhile, the Winter School had another class whose students we constantly converged with during academic trips, social activites, and housing: The International Law and Human Rights class composed of 17 participants from 7 countries (if I could do both classes, I would). It was definitely the experience of a lifetime, from academic lectures to the weekend educational trips. We also had the privilege to experience Czech culture - from survival Czech, traditional dance class and exploring the Punka Cave. It was already a stellar and holistic program in itself, and yet we capped off Winter School with a visit to the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, Austria. Thank you to everyone at the Masaryk University Summer and Winter Schools and all who were part of the Winter School Cohort 2025. It was a January to remember. 🙏✨️ #InternationalLaw #InternationalSecurity #LawyersPH #DOJPH Department of Justice #ParaSaBayan
